I was the CTO at ladeplan. My current role at RetailSonar is to leverage data synergies between ladeplan and ChargePlanner.

It’s absolutely the right move—combining forces to conquer and accelerate the European EV charging market. This integration positions us as a true leader in Location Intelligence.

It feels like one big family. Open-minded, collaborative, and supportive colleagues, all united by a strong vision for location planning. Thanks for making the transition so smooth!

What was your role at ladeplan, and now at RetailSonar?
I was the CPO at ladeplan. At RetailSonar, I’ll help share the knowledge we gained at ladeplan to further develop and enhance the ChargePlanner solution.

How do you reflect on the incorporation of ladeplan in RetailSonar?
There’s a strong match between what we were building at ladeplan and what RetailSonar is doing with ChargePlanner. Combining our expertise will lead to even more innovation and better solutions.

What is your first impression of our company?
Everyone I’ve met so far has been open-minded, supportive, and respectful. I’m really impressed by how involved everyone is in the company’s processes—and how each person truly contributes to achieving the company’s goals.

Any fun facts we need to know about you?
I’ve been vegan for nearly five years now—and people often don’t believe it because they think you can’t get this big being vegan. (laughs)

What are your hobbies?
You’ll often find me at the gym or out running. I also love cooking, and I’m always up for a conversation about food, fitness, and health. During the summer, I make sure to attend at least one music festival and camp out for a few days.

What do you see as the biggest challenge for RetailSonar?
I think that in this AI era, RetailSonar needs to stay on top of Location Intelligence in retail and eMobility. For ChargePlanner, the challenge is to build out the knowledge and experience we already have and to continue delivering as much added value to our customers.
